I purchased an Aldi "Premium Bike Tool Kit" (#4377) in Oct 2013.
Today I used the crank arm remover from that tool kit - it loosens the pedal from the crank shaft. This is not done very regularly on a casual use bicycle, and so this was the first occasion I had to use this tool.
Due to its poor/soft metal, the end that presses against the crankshaft deformed and actually bored into the bolt hole wrecking the thread.
As a result, I could not reassemble the pedal crank because the bolt would not screw into the damaged thread, so I will have to replace the damaged crank shaft and bolts for $25.
In my experience, Aldi products usually represent good value, but in this case a cheaper priced tool kit is no good at all if it's made of shoddy metal and ends up wrecking the parts I'm working on.
